Dynamics Are a Goo

Get it? They're a 'goo' because it's... goo!

I'm sorry.
Pictured: the final goo. It slides down the walls of the bottle and everything (that's what's happening in the picture). This is actually an nCloth/Particle hybrid, not a Maya Fluid.
(edit: I actually ended up moving to nParticles after writing this for a tighter render time!)

Furthermore, some other tests and things, including two turn-arounds I had to render out for a class (basically, whatever happens to be on my desktop when I make an update).

Fabric Sim

No one cares, but I meant to post this a while ago. Look, her fabric and fluid sim-- they work and don't glitch out. While setting them up, I honestly thought Maya was trying to indicate to me that I should make an abstract expressionist film.

Lighting Keys

Lighting keys from my film--basically, grabs from Maya with Photoshop over them.
Lisa Keene helped me a lot! These were done during her class.

Modeling

You can look at two of my models! 21st century, go!

Actually, exporting the Witch caused me to realize that I have to fix a little something around the collar strap of her pack. Drat.

Batteries

I'm uploading this little sequence from my film because Elliott, who's helping me with my layout, thought it was adorable.

Actually, here's my animatic!

April

It's been a while since I updated, have a quick pencil scratch.

Animating

I was posing out a shot and it turns out her head looks like it's attached to her hips from this angle... soo I took a screenshot and made an update on my blog!

Hi, guys.

Man, I really need to fix the sim on her tank but that's a little low on my list of priorities (and by that, I mean it's at the top of the list of things I'll do when I am really sick of animating).
